Sauna heater sizing guide
Measure your sauna room in feet and multiply length × width × height to get the volume in cubic feet. A 6 × 6 × 7 ft room, for example, is 252 cubic feet. Then match it to the heater power below.

What size sauna heater do I need?
Multiply your room’s length, width and height in feet to get cubic feet, then use the sizing guide on this page. A 6 × 6 × 7 ft room (252 ft³) suits a 6 to 7.5 kW heater. Glass, stone and log walls need more power.
Should I choose an electric heater or a wood-burning stove?
Electric heaters heat quickly, are easy to control and suit most indoor and backyard saunas with power. Wood-burning stoves give the classic wood-fired experience and work off-grid, but need a chimney and more hands-on use.
Do electric sauna heaters need an electrician?
Most electric sauna heaters are hardwired on a dedicated 240 V circuit and should be installed by a licensed electrician. We confirm the electrical requirements for your heater before you order.
Can I control my sauna heater from my phone?
Yes, with a compatible controller. HUUM heaters pair with the UKU controller for Wi-Fi control, so you can start your sauna from anywhere.
Do I need sauna stones?
Yes. Sauna heaters and stoves need stones to store and release heat and create steam. We can include the right amount of stones for your heater in your quote.
How much does heater shipping cost?
